Making sure both banks on a TT engine produce the same amount of power is definitely a design consideration but they didn't even touch on that in the article.
It's amazing the amount of engineering that goes into making a modern car. That's why I'm often skeptical when I hear someone say that they're going to change their engine layout or suspension setup to some radically new design that they think will work better, because it's doubtful that they'll do the amount of research or testing that the original designers did.
